Don't you just love them! I bang on the side of mine when they can't hear me yelling because the movie or ideo game is to loud. That gets the attention and then I can talk.....

Barb....that little old man is very cute!!! I love his face!

Elle...so glad yours got there and the best part....you don't have to wait all that long!!!

My packages behaved themselves yesterday and I had them in the same room. I was in there with them quite a bit though. I got to sew while the bird was cooking, so all in all- a good day! Now we'll have to see if the truce is over. I might just have to take that pillow to them!

I remember them , my daughter had one, but the cabbage patch doll she never had , they were $48.00 where we lived. I must be a lot older then you girls, because When I was little , there was none of that stuff around. I remember the doll and pram I got one christmas, I wore the wheels off that pram. any of you ever have the metal sidewalk steel sktes, that you had to put on your shoes and tighten up with a key?

Don't have the metal skates anymore, but I still have 2 of the keys used to tighten them. Such memories!

My girl is 32 & we have close to 50 CP dolls. One even talks. We have an astronut, premmies, twins, clowns, boy twins, premmie twins , some that grows hair & some just plain ole dolls that do nothing. Have everybodies shoes, socks & orginal clothes. My sister has close that many still in the orginial boxes. She also has one from Babyland General that has the soft schulped face made by Xavier Roberts. I also use to make these dolls for people. Sent a set of triplets to Illinois for a lady's granddaughters. I also made one of each of my kids & put there coming home from hospital clothes on. Sad you can't buy the knit to make anymore. Don't know what the toy to get is anymore. All my dgs's want is cars, trucks & pop guns. Th dgd wants girly stuff like makeup & nail polish but she is also getting another cookbook & a mini sewing machine for christmas.

The soft sculpted ones came out before I was born, so I never got one of those. All they ones I have are the toys, and I think only one of them is not by Coleco. I've kept most of my dolls and stuffed animals for my own kids (at least that's what I've been telling myslef all these years) but I'm not sure I will be able to let them go, lol. I keep imagining them cutting the doll's hair, or pulling off the arms or legs... maybe I'll keep them and just buy them their own, lol!
