And I like everything in my chili or soup that I can find in the kitchen, excluding the dish rag of course. And if you haven't tried fried potato sandwiches, you haven't lived!

But back to SS.....can't wait to shop, shop, shop. And if anyone gets my name, I love everything unless it is strong scented, like candles, potpourri, etc.....too many alergies. Other than that, I am real easy to please.

And trupeach....I love homemade jams!
Sandy......and why didn't you tell me about the jam before this so I knew it for the fall box swap which my aunt took with her last night to mail for me this morning???? grrrrrrrrrrrrr

sewhappy57 and Patti...I think you are both right. It looks like a plaid, and it's definitely on a quilt.
So we have an idea what colors ligia from Lurkingdom likes, besides quiltboard and ss swap! oh, and mysteries

so, I challenge all secret santas, to list one nice thing they have done lately and one naughty thing. I'll go first:
NICE
I have been very supportive to some ppl that really needed it.
(those kinds of things, mean a lot to mousie  )

NAUGHTY
I ate a whole bag of Keeblers chips deluxe with m&m's last week...not in one day! I am not supposed to eat too much caffeine, but I love chocolate. Milk chocolate. They were calling to me... I couldn't help it...I know it weren't right...but...but...I know I'll do it again  [u]

My DM use to peel potatoes and slice them round. She would fry them up in Crisco and put them on bread with lot of Miracle Whip. We would eat them for lunch in the summer and I loved them. I was married and working and one day I had a craving for one. I got up early and made one for my lunch. I was eating it and enjoying every bite, when I noticed the other ladies looking at me. "What is that?" "A fried potatoe sandwich." That day, I learned that no one else ate fried potatoe sandwiches as a child.

I am so glad to meet someone that knows how good they really are. It will be our little secret. I haven't had one in years and now I'm wanting one.

That was not being naughty that was expanding your mind by keeping it active with reading. Do you like that........ sounds pretty darn good to me. Any excuse to get an Elm Creek book is a good excuse. LOL

I'm in on the Secret Santa for 2009.

Nice thing - helped out an older gentleman in the hospital room with my dh. He needed something to read, so I bought him a book. His family didn't visit him. So sad.

Naught thing - I bought a box of ring dings and ate the whole thing myself.

Oh well, I love chocolate.

I went shopping too.
