You got that right. I was always told that you should never drink alone. People will think you're an alcoholic if you drink alone. Can't have that!!!!!

It is so good to hear that many packages are arriving.
My house is all decorated after 3 days of work. I will still have the tree I won to put up when it arrives.
If I wasn't so tired I would invite you all over for a party.
    Happy Quilting.

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

    They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

It came upon the midnight clear,
    That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold:
"Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
    From heavens all gracious King!"
The world in solemn stillness lay
    To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come,
    With peaceful wings unfurled;
And still their heavenly music floats
    O'er all the weary world:
Above its sad and lowly plains
    They bend on hovering wing,
And ever o'er its Babel sounds
    The blessed angels sing.

O ye beneath life's crushing load,
    Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
    With painful steps and slow;
Look now, for glad and golden hours
    Come swiftly on the wing;
Oh rest beside the weary road
    And hear the angels sing.

For lo! the days are hastening on,
    By prophets seen of old,
    When with the ever-circling years
    Shall come the time foretold,
When the new heaven and earth shall own
The Prince of Peace, their King,
And the whole world send back the song
    Which now the angels sing.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

    Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Fast away the old year passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

    Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Winona, I LOVE the story about customs...best excuse I've heard for getting into your box early! How funny! ("Please don't ask what hubby will do with fabric" -- love it!) I can just see you there smiling sweetly. Can't wait to find out what you unwrapped.

Good morning guys! Nasty wintry mix going on here at the North Pole! I was sewing while wstching TV last night. This morning my wrist is killing me. Can't decide if it's from the sewing or from helping Dreamer hold up that bottle. I like the way the naughty corner has evolved from corner, to room, and now to PARTY HOUSE.

It's not in the rules that you have to post on here, but for international parcels (which can't be tracked) it's really helpful. I still don't know if my parcel, sent in October, arrived safely, but I did post that I got mine. Don't think I'll be doing this next year - too stressful!
Lang may yer lum reek. (I'm a knitter - hence - 'Knit-ette'. Confuses a lot of people!)
