[QUOTE=sharon b;5697067]Ok I am throwing a monkey wrench in here I see all these time zones - I really don't know what mine is all I know for sure is it is Day Light Savings ... Never had to worry about that before , then 4 years ago silly governor decided we had it too easy and changed everything ( but that is another story GGGRRR) LOL

I don't know what day light savings time means either. I do know you are the same as NYC...eastern time and I am an hour from you in the same state and am an hour earlier. Crazy!
    Happy Quilting.

I dunno. Seems you have been getting quite the haul on packages. Maybe people got your addy instead of their actual SS to send to OR, the post office is deterring them to your house for safe keeping

I'm flexible on time. But, later is better as already Christmas parties and functions have started and we will be out until late afternoon. But, if earlier time is chosen then I will just have to open later. Or how about earlier ......like the day before???? I have been a good girl. My box is still unopened AND undamaged propped against my chair where I sit each night and I still give it a little shake just before bed!!!! I am soooooooo excited. More excited about this than actually opening Christmas presents on Christmas! Yippee.

I have to work that day but should be home by 6pm eastern time, so anytime after that will be good for me.

Well I took your advice on how to find my lost Christmas: I watched Elf the Movie, It's a Wonderful Life, put out some decorations, Went to the local christmas tree farm and looked for a tree, fell in a gopher hole broke two fingers on my right hand and my left wrist, while driving myself too the hospital I listened to christmas carols on the radio, and still haven't been able to find my Christmas! trying to type this is not fun.

Hi Debbie nice to *see* you

Dreamer did you bribe someone at a regional sort facility?

Those who think they are in Daylight Savings Time, hate to break it to you but that is a seasonal time (and artificial ) and it is over until spring. So you are either in Eastern time (same as NY) or Central Time (same as Chicago) and further west like Colorado Mountain Time, and then Pacific time. don't know if Alaska has more zones or what Hawaii has. Japan is a different day.

Omgosh, I think you may be looking for christmas in the wrong place. It's not supposed to hurt you. Sending you hugs and hopefully a bit of christmas cheer. I sure hope the right kind of christmas cheer finds you soon. I sure wouldn't want you to miss it........

Oh, LJS317, hope you are on the mend soon. I broke my arm in October and know exactly how you feel trying to type - with a broken wrist on one side and broken fingers on the other. And lots of tears in between!! Poor dear. Send me your addy and I'll come right out to help you through those first few days - they're miserable, dressing, undressing, that sort of thing. Prayers to you.

    Jingle Bells
    Dashing through the snow
    In a one-horse open sleigh
    Over the fields we go
    Laughing all the way.
    Bells on bob-tail ring
    Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
    A sleighing song tonight.
    chorus:
    Jingle bells, jingle bells
    Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
    In a one-horse open sleigh, O
    Jingle bells, jingle bells
    Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
    In a one-horse open sleigh.
    A day or two ago
    I thought I’d take a ride
    And soon Miss Fanny Bright
    Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank
    Misfortune seemed his lot,
We got into a drifted bank
    And there we got upsot.
    chorus:
    Jingle bells, jingle bells…
    A day or two ago
    The story I must tell
I went out on the snow
    And on my back I fell;
    A gent was riding by
    In a one-horse open sleigh
He laughed as there I sprawling lie
    But quickly drove away.
    chorus:
    Jingle bells, jingle bells…
    Now the ground is white,
    Go it while you’re young,
    Take the girls tonight
    And sing this sleighing song.
    Just get a bob-tailed bay,
    Two-forty for his speed,
Then hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! You’ll take the lead.
    chorus:
    Jingle bells, jingle bells…
I am Quilter Hear Me Roar...
