1) Do you like/want/need that dreaded pesky tool know as a seam ripper?
I have good seam ripper, but can always use a spare. I like the ergonomic handle kind.

2) Do you like/want/need micro tip Fiskar spring action scissors? I have a pair!

3) Do you wear glasses? Yes, but they are always on. Never hanging. I can't see a foot in front of my face clearly without them.

4) Do you like to cook/bake? Yes!

5) Fat quarters or yardage is fine. I am really low on tone on tone print aqua, blue and purple in my stash.

My person lives very far away from me, so her gift will be mailed today so she can get it in time

I love fabric but i'm the worlds worst colour co ordinator. I never seem to have enough frison pens, cotton or blades for my cutter. I found some more clues in my stalking today while down in the hole with my chocolates.

If I decide to do a single yard cut, will that cover the FQ requirement? If youchoose single yard, would you rather me pick the fabric, or send a gift card? I’mnot looking to wuss out, just really trying to please my SS person. I havealready decided if I go the gift card route, I will include enough to covershipping.
Now I will sit here and wringmy hands, whine, and hope I get it right.

I prefer 1 yard cuts, cuz I can do more with them...but, that's just me. I will be happy with either. You pick, maybe according to likes listed. Rather that, than gift card.

I have to quit reading everyone else's answers to questions. I can't remember the answers to the questions from my own swapper!

I'm trying now to copy & paste her answers & comments to notepad so I can remember!

(I love these so much that I have numerous pairs plus 1 pair just for cutting
paper back fusible)

Here is a link to the scissors I am asking about just in case you don't know
Fiskar spring action micro tip

3) Do you wear glasses? (I have been wearing glasses since I was 4 years old)

4) Do you like to cook/bake?
I have enough seam rippers. Would love the micro tip scissors. No, to glasses. Gotten out of the habit of cooking/baking, except for the normal amount. It's just me & hubby.

My answers are I love all and any thing you want to include, I prefer Fqs to yardage because FQ's give me so many options I am almost done with my box but won't send it just yet! Otherwise you will know it is me! I am going to include more than one handmade item in my box, hope that is ok!

Is there a rule regarding puppy or kitty treats?

ps I love junior mints lately. They are my thinking candy!
Our cat (Kneedy) prefers furry cat toys to treats. Our dog (Greta) prefers small soft treats. Blind, deaf, & very few teeth...doesn't play with toys much anymore, but eats EVERYTHING! The nose works great!!!

That is almost what I do.

I copy and paste all the info into a word document about my partner.
Than I read it 2-3 times and start "marking" the info by color.

Below is a small sample (using my sign-up info) of how I do my
marking.

Of course I also do the same for the name, address etc.
green = good to look for this (in the shopping for partner)
red = don't even bother

What's your favorite color? Purple, yellow, red, orange, followed
by almost all other colors EXCEPT those listed under the “worst color”.

Worst color? Brown olive/drab greens, dirty/muddy looking civil war era, 30’s-50’s era looking.

Fabric type - Batik, solids, floral, Civil War, 30's, other? Batiks, solids, blenders,
tonals, fabrics with gold and/or silver metallic.
NO civil war or 30’s-50’s era

Quilting style - traditional, modern, scrappy? Whatever my mood sets for me.
Scrappy would probably be my last option.

Coffee or Tea? Both, I drink Keurig coffee (I own 3 brewers haha don’t ask why),
LOVE ice tea when not drinking coffee. I only drink certain kinds of hot teas.

Chocolate - love it or hate it? LOVE it! Dark chocolate is the best. I DO NOT like white
chocolate.

Do you prefer homemade gifts or store bought? Both/either

What's your favorite flower? Yellow roses

Your favorite snack? Depends on my mood. But I am a diabetic, so no sweets the
sugar free sweets are nasty so I don’t like them either.

What's playing in your sewing area when your there? T.V., music, book? either music
from the computer or an audiobook on my ipod.

After this I print and put in my purse for when I am out shopping I can pull the sheet
and look at the info. As I come across stuff from the list (IF I buy it) than I mark it
off and continue on.

This is something I ALWAYS do even when I play in the monthly secret pal swaps.

GREAT system! Thanks for the tips.

Well, my pattern is too big for a mug rug, so looks like my partner will get a mini quilt instead. I'm hoping I can get it hand pieced quickly, but if not, I'll have to try my hand with the machine.

I just finished cutting it out...
