Oh redstilettos your post made my morning! Giggling at your dreams Irish Lace, Irish Chain and Celtic patterns...Oh if I could only get rid of spider nightmares and dream like you!!!!

You named all the states of the West you are absolutely right they are beautiful! We lived in Colorado for 35 years, loved it there, now it's population along the front range is crazy. Our two adult kids and families live in Denver still, glad now to only visit. You need to add Idaho to your list of Rocky Mountain States and besides you'd have a place to stay, we live very close to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks!</giggles>

It is really interesting, I don't love paisley but find the colorways that are usually in a paisley print interesting. However it seems that many people have an aversion to the paisley print. They remind me of the late 60's and early 70's when everyone seemed to be wearing paisley's.

An online group started annual quilting retreats in Arizona and during one of the retreats we were given a challenge mystery bag with just paisley prints and blender fabrics to make something during the retreat with those fabrics. There were probably 35 women there and I would say there were at least a third of the women that reacted to the paisley fabrics as though they'd opened a bag of snakes or spiders the groans and protests were very evident! :0) I was so surprised by that.

As for me paisley prints I'm pretty much neutral on that pattern.

I don't like MOST paisleys. There are a few (very few at that) that I
do like.

For me it is one of those fabrics that I prefer to buy myself since most
people wouldn't know the kind of paisley that I like.

Rotary cutter blades and size? Yes, 45mm. Can never have enough blades
I just realized...I didn't specify the center hole for the rotary blades...must be round. I also have 60mm & they must be round also. Tried the ones that had notches in them once...didn't work on my cutters. I have several cutters of different types that all take the round holes...didn't want to just go buy another one of a different type so gave that batch of blades to a friend.

Questions for anyone else:
1. Do you think you'd use a set of numbered pins (for keeping rows in line etc.) Probably not. I use paper/safety pins to mark rows.
2. Do you use a thimble? No
3. Do you like the rubbery bobbin holders (to keep the thread from unraveling) No
4. What's one place you really want to visit in the country or world? I would love to visit Australia, but it will never happen. My grandson hopes to get there as a student this next summer.

There have really been some good questions...hoping to mail to my person by end of month.
