I know some of you are on the other board and if you could, could you PLEASE send a small note to those over there that are in swaps here that it would be nice if they would follow thru on their commitment OR contact the swap host/hostess and let them know they intend to NOT follow thru. This not only pertains to THIS swap, but also to other swaps that are ongoing.
Thanks
What other board?

Time for another sing along ::::

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
There's a tree at the Grand Hotel
One in the park as well
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow. . . .

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go
Take a look in the five-and-ten,
Glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in ev'ry store
But the prettiest sight to see
Is the holly that will be
On your own front door.

A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of Janice and Jen
And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go
There's a tree in the Grand Hotel,
On ein the park as well
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the bells will start
And the thing that will make them ring
Is the carol that you sing
Right within your heart.

So how many others actually started singing???? I did, and laughing too. I wasn't going to put up a tree this year, but maybe I will after all. You guys are getting me into the Christmas spirit after all.

for you grann.......................

Up on the rooftop reindeer pause

Out jumps good old Santa Clause

Down thru the chimney with lots of toys

All for the little ones

Christmas joys

Chorus

Ho, ho, ho!

Who wouldn’t go!

Ho, ho, ho!

Who wouldn’t go!

Up on the rooftop

Click, click, click

Down thru the chimney with

Good Saint Nick

First comes the stocking

Of little Nell

Oh, dear Santa

Fill it well

Give her a dolly

That laughs and cries

One that will open

And shut her eyes

Repeat Chorus

Next comes the stocking

Of little Will

Oh, just see what

A glorious fill

Here is a hammer

And lots of tacks

Also a ball

And a whip that cracks

Thanks for the lyrics Dreamer. I shouldn't try to rely on my memory anymore. I should just google them.

I love that line: "up on the rooftop click, click, click."
I can just see the reindeer's little feet clicking on the roof. Fun song.

Well, it happened to me again!!! Grrr! Lost my post when I tried to put a smiley face on it. Anyway.....
Thanks Dreamer. You are starting to get me in the spirit (or maybe just getting under my skin)
I had a 15-minute "nap" and am ready to start another project. The 20 pillowcases and 3 quilts are all packed and ready to go to the Post Office. Is mine the only one that closes from 12-2, or do they all? I don't know why they need such a long break
.
