I was wondering if any quilters had dogs. They are so cute.

Teresa, love your dogs! I miss having dogs. I can't have one where I live. I have a hard time going to a shelter. I would want to take all of them home with me!

Karen I have decided to make 1 needle case. I'll send you my info, if not today, I will get it to you tomorrow. The pics are my DD new cat 1 yr old. His name is Scamper, but he has a few other names that my quilting friends call him. The next pic is DD girl standard poodle. She also has a male Std. Poodle. Plus we have 2 black labs and a 17 yr old cat. 3 birds, a guinea pig and rabbit.

Love all the pet pictures. There's certainly a lot of variety of colors and markings in the cat world.

A few months ago the regulars from this swap agreed to let PeginCO's 10 yr old daughter Claire join in with us. She is very accomplished for her age and several of us have received really great pc's from her. I will be drawing names in a few days. Since there are some new people who signed up, I want to let you know that she may end up with your name. If anyone is not comfortable to have Claire as a swap partner, please PM me personally. Thanks!

Oh my you sure have a lot of pets. My DS has 4 dogs, 1 doberman and 3 huskies and I usually have to go and let them out once a day. He's been off a lot this summer and is now working nights so I haven't had to babysit them at all. Did you hear about the girl in Scarborough Me that caught a blue lobster? Really blus

I saw that blue lobster. wow, amazing isn't it?
All these fur babies. Any of them have great adventures like Zoey?
How do they know winter is coming. In the winter Zoey sleeps on my legs at night.
It can be painful, but I'm oh so honored to her her there, I don't want to move.
Just b4, she sat on my legs again. I guess her clock is ahead of mine. Does
anybody else's fur babies do this? And it's warm today.

I love Clairs work, so you know I don't mind her as a swap partner. Some of the
younger people have it and some don't. She has it!. She does very nice clean
work and has some great ideas too.

Karen I will GLADLY take on Claire as a partner.

Nothing would give me any greater pleasure that to share with her.

About 25 years a go.
I caught a big ole bright blue/turquoise crawfish in the creek behind my house. I put him in a jar and carried him to the local country store and let all the old timers look at him. They had never seen anything like it! Then carried him to the county agent. He had never seen anything like it! I pickled him in alcohol, carried him to numerous places, hundreds of people saw him, it was a first for them all! The kids each took turns carrying him to school for show and tell! Lost him and everything in a house fire. We also had a jet black squirrel my oldest son shot while hunting. We had it mounted and I also carried it to numerous places and no one had ever seen one like it before. Lost it to the fire also.
