I figured I'd get a couple for a few dollars each. She tells me that a case comes with 36 and that she would order me one at their cost which would be just under $20 total with tax. I tell her to order me a case. I picked them up last night. Here's a picture of what they look like. What do you think?
I think it looks like it will make a great Pincushion. (lightbulb award)

    Duh. Nevermind. Stained glass QUILT.
Yes but lead channels separate the glass pieces, or was that why you were saying duh? LOL The black batik will represent the "lead." The whole quilt is done in batiks.

OK. Now I am really confused. Are you working with glass or working with fabric?
Krystyna, I will be working with Batik fabrics to make a stained glass "look" quilt. We will be using black batik to represent the "lead" around the "windows." All is fabric. Sorry I confused you but at 1st I think you thought I was doing real stained glass using glass and I thought I cleared that up but apparently I didn't do such a good job explaining. It's all good. When I complete the top I will post a pic.

Good guess, but then again Long Island, NY is pretty sandy, too. And I think Maine has a dessert of sorts, as does Nevada, Arizona, California, Texas. I guess that wasn't such a great clue -- much too general.

How about this - my SP likes coconut. If she's reading, she'll probably recognize herself.

Happy Thursday everyone. Time to get ready for work.

I LOVE coconut. I will bring a coconut custard pie to the bench. I guess I'd better bring two because I do not want to share. As for sand, my city is a beach community known for its white sand. Other sandy places: NM, AZ, NV, CA ... but not FL.

Off to the bench I go. Mmmmm. Coconut custard pie for breakfast!

While sitting on the bench waiting for my package I made some potato ( Polish) dumplings, now wish I had a nice Chicken or Beef stock to put them in, also making a Raspberry/Strawberry
Cream pie for the hubby... Nice and cool on our warm days...
