Oh How sad well I guess that this is the first month I will say I am on the bench. Not, sure what I will bring to share, but I will make it tasty.

The postman was at my door today! My lovely box of goodies, from Darlene, arrived this morning. The material is great and will go well with my stash. I love the magnetic notepads and am always needing new ones. I use the all cotton yarn for dishcloths so new skeins are always welcome. The tape and invisible thread are appreciated as well! Thanks, Darlene, for being a great Sept partner. (And, a very nice note was included!).

Just one question: Do you use cooking or eating apples? As the type will change the outcome of the cake.[/quote]

I use golden delicious -- mostlly because that was what I had the first time I made the cake and it worked. The recipe didn't reallly help with that. You are right, I made it once with Jonathans and it was good, but not as good.

I'd love to hear if anyone tries and how you liked it.
