bjolly, I was scared with my first DQ too so I know where you are coming from, but each time I make one I get better and better, I still make mistake but for me this is a learning experience and hope to be as good as others as I learn...So Don't fret and keep joining us in our adventure!

I know, I had one person actually pass me so he or she could pull in a walmart store I was in my mixer truck, I just about had heart attack I couldn't stop that truck and I miss him/she barely. I would of killed them if they had went any slower.

Alright I am excited to see what everyone makes this month. So excited I cut and worked on finishing my.. fall DQ. I even think I like it! I hadn't realized how many fall color blenders I had until well there they were. I am making two, one for my daughter and one for my partner. All I can say is this is the first leaf I have done and well.. it wasn't hard at all! I love this swap I started off thinking basket then well there was this leaf and it said.. make me make me. Its early enough yet I suppose I might have time to get to that basket too. TADA!

Krystyna, I think I am addicted. Thats the problem. Worse yet I don't care either. Last night the dear man says hey in Sept I get this check (a good one) for all my overtime work this year and well should I take a trip to Yellowstone and go fishing.. or should I pay off the truck? I said I had a better idea. He should go to the quilting store and spend it all there. He laughed and said of course, it would make you happy then I would be happy too .. why didnt I think of it? I said thats what I am here for.. guidance in helping him do the right thing.
