Fun is the best way to go, I am gonna see if my mom, who I just got to join the quilting board is up to the challenge of making someone a DQ. If not this month will try for another month.

I would love a "Nun Quilt"... I can't wait to see what these turn out to be...my very frist quilt was for my son and it was black and white...nearly put my eyes out before it was finished but it is really pretty!

I have at least five ideas for my little black/white/blast of colour quilt running around in head already LOL

Just might have to make one of each anyways and then I will be able to choose when I get my partner assigned

OK ladies, The DQ I received from Lynnie25 back in March 2012 is kinda what gave me the idea for the theme of Black and white with a PUNCH of color! I threw in the summer punch since it is August and nothing else is going on this month.

My first DQ swap I did was B&W with a touch of color. Click here for that picture and you can flip thru the other mini's that were sent that month.

Here is a picture of the DQ I received. Not RUN with with it! search internet for B&W with a pop of color.
You'll be amazed at what you get!

I've been sitting the dq swap out, trying to catch up on several other projects ... but now I have some time and even have the center started ... didn't know it when I did it, but there you are - black and white with a pop! of color ... playing with a pattern I bought online - oh, boy, I'm in - might even be finished before the last stroke of midnight on August 31st this time

Oh BertieD, now I know why they felt so "funny" today You all are so trusting, but it is started so I'll see if it hits the trash can or not.

Krystyna are you not running the dq swap anymore?

Just curious is all. QuiltingKrazy does a mighty fine job
    of running the swap also.
