#1

Here are the official guidelines for the swap:
1. SIGN UP ends Friday, February 18, 2011.
2. DO NOT sign up until your table runner is finished and packed for mailing.
3. Send me a PM with your real name, mailing address and email address. Please let know if you can ship internationally. I will send you a name and address by Sunday, February 20, 2011, to whom you will mail the table runner.
4. You MUST sign up by PM. I might accidentally overlook attempts to sign up by posting in this topic.
5. MAILING DEADLINE: Friday, February 25, 2011.
6. SIZE: Minimum runner size is 12 X 36 inches. You may go larger, but remember we are making a table runner, not a table topper.
7. MATERIALS: Use 100% cotton fabric. Be as creative as you want. Use any blocks or fabric that suggests St. Patrick's Day. The design can be from a published pattern or an original design.
8. LABEL: a label for the back of the runner is optional, but some type of identification is encouraged.
9. Please PM me when you send your table runner so I have it for my records.
NOTE: Please DO NOT sign up until your table runner is finished. We need 100% follow through or we may lose the privilege of having swaps.
Please read the Rules for Swaps and Similar Activities here: http://quiltingboard.com/t-20154-1.htm
Please note the requirement for mailing/shipping trackability and delivery confirmation.

I haven't yet joined this swap (trying to see if I can fit it in)... but LOL, the reminder about the Shamrock having 3 leaves is great... last year I did a wall hanging (that I haven't finished because of one thing I failed to notice) and that was the way my Shamrocks were cut. Don't get me wrong, I had the "3" leaves - and I thought they were great and good to go and I was getting ready to bind it up when my husband reminded me that Shamrock Leaves each look like little hearts connected to the stem... I don't know what I was thinking - but I made all my appliques to look like clubs from a deck of cards in green.... So remember not only that they have 3 leaves - but also that each leaf looks like a mini heart attached to the stem! Otherwise you'll be like me with a UFO of festive green colored clubs for St Patty's Day... LMAO!
