Have new computer since last summer but not using it yet. Need to send many precious pics & some Word Docs to USBs before switching over. This keyboard is just about gone, too... cut & pasting 4 letters - a c f z, so typing is so slow! Can you see that I'm a lefty? lol

Kristi - being new to quilting, color "value" is always a challenge for me. Am still learning (typically the hard way!). This might be a good way to use our new candies and practice! It's an easy enough pattern, so my focus can go towards value instead of complex pattern arrangements. Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Kristijoy, your quilt is beautiful. Like it even more since I went to look at it again and saw the very light +'s hiding against the background. Guess I need new glasses lol.
Did you do this for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge?

Here's another square inspiration. This is from the book 'Modern Rainbow'. It's 2 1/2 inch squares with 2 1/2 by 6 1/2 rectangles. I think, though, it would be easy to convert it to all squares and even make each 'plus' a mixture of scrappy fabrics in the same color way. It's a lot of fun to play with the color gradation!

DJ - This quilt looks like a ton of fun! This one has 'value' changes, but it also has 'saturation' used to good effect too. The bright pluses jump out and the muted colors recede. What fun! Most of my stash is on the 'bright' side, with only a handful of muted colors. But that's what swapping is for isn't it!
Kristi, love that quilt!!! Looks similar to Charming Addtions pattern -

Thanks Annie! Unfortunately I didn't do this one for the RSC (Rainbow Scrap Challenge). Since everything interlocks you can just sew 9-patches in isolation. Because of the light in value ones hiding in the background...One color leads into the next and the next and the next...
To sew it you have to lay everything out on a design wall or the floor first and move lots of squares around! Fun until you decide to vacuum the room!

Oooh! This is so much fun! I've been eyeing this design for awhile. And I found it on Craftsy for free! Looks like it would just alot of mini-charms or 'candy'! With one neutral.

I really like this quilt, too, and yes, it will be a perfect pattern for our swap squares.
