I adore those trees!! I have a tree block in mind too - now just to execute it...

Anyway, here is set #3, a more traditional block...but bright and cheery:

You are so encouraging, Karen. All of you are! Thank you! I'm always nervous, worried they aren't up to par.

Peg, I'd love to have the pattern for that block. Setting the design on point really makes it sing. I've been collecting 30s prints and think this would be perfect for some of them. A very festive, colorful, and effective block!

I love your traditional block Peg. I just love vintage. And, I love the smaller blocks also. You really do need them in order to fill out different areas of your quilt. So a vary of different sizes is always welcome.

This is the tutorial I used, and I loved it. I know I will use it again for a full size quilt. It makes 9" unfinished blocks, which is why I had to add a little border (I know, I should have figured out the math to increase the size, but I couldn't get my brain around it!)

Such talent we have in our swaps. I really love the on point block peg.

I am getting so excited the Halloween is one month out from the deadline and this one is two. Wow that time is flying by! It won't be long and we will be working on our quilts!
