We would love to have you join in the fun javin! It is nice to play with blocks when it is too hot outside to be out there gardening or playing. Gives you something to do that looks "cool".

My 30 year old industrial Bernina bit the dust a couple of months ago and is in the shop waiting to be revamped. I am using a cheapo machine right now and it won't satin stitch or do anything fancy or it breaks, so if I do join in, I am stuck with pieced blocks. I hope that will be ok. Last year I did a bunch of applique, but I won't be able to this year. I will see what I can find.

Stuck with pieced blocks? I'm doing pieced blocks! Honestly, the finished quilts we put together will sing with a mix of everything -- the more the merrier. Hope you decide to join us!

I have been away from the board for a while, life kept getting in the way. Things have settled down for me now and this seems like just the thing for me. All of the blocks I've seen here are just gorgeous and I'm in for this. Already sent PM to Red and I'm set to go. Let the fun begin!!!

Hi javin,
Cooky is right, the combination of the blocks is what makes the quilt so dang fun. I wish I had know you needed one. I had to twist my sister's arm to have her "take" the 730 bernina I found at the second hand store. It had every foot imaginable and sewed like a dream!

I am sure that you will find some great pieced blocks to share with us. Sometimes it is all about the fabric, sometimes it is the piecing that is so cool. Well, you know.
