Red face Explore my sewing space!

    Hey everyone,

The past two days have been snow days here in southwestern IL! So, I've been off work

What better way to spend a couple days off then in your sewing space?

My husband and I are both 22 years old and he is in Pharmacy school, so no kiddos for us yet, so we have our second bedroom upstairs in use as a partial office/sewing room!

I just wanted to show you around my space, i was able to place all of my fabrics I've been collecting for the past 7 years or so on foam board and the smaller pieces like jelly rolls or fat quarters in those small plastic containers. I really do love my space!

    Thanks for looking!

    Happy day to all

The last picture is of my baby girl She isn't much of an inspector but she is a cutie anyway!

Nice space and very well organized. And a cute sewing companion. Kind of reminds me of my two inspectors who like to sleep on the job.

What a calming and relaxing space you have created for yourself. Your inspector looks appreciative of the quiet space, too. Nice work.

Perhaps you can put something in front of your fabric on boards. I would be afraid of the front edges fading from the sunlight. That happened to me, so now I have a quilted cover hanging in front. Just a thought.

Your inspecter is the best kind to have. Congratulations on getting this started before 'the future' comes to you. This way you will always have space in your world for you!
    Enjoy the day, Chickadee_42us

While I am jealous of your organized space, I was also excited to open your post and see we have the same Singer sewing machine. I just got mine for Christmas so I am still learning all it does- so far, I really like it but I haven't really tried all the specialty stitches. I just retired from my job and decided to learn how to quilt-thus, the new machine. I was reluctant to purchase a really expensive machine in case I got too frustrated with my new hobby and decided to quit. So far, I am really enjoying the machine and my new hobby. I particularly loooove buying fabric. What's your opinion of the Quantum?
