The nice thing about Billy shelves you can add doors if you like. I have Billy bookcases as a pantry with doors that are 1/2 glass and bottom is solid. I have a billy bookcase in the sewing room the top is open bookcases and we put doors on the bottom half.

I bought the cubes from Target and they work really well and cost much less! Think about that as another option+you have money left over for more fabric!

Well on Friday I ordered my shelving from Ikea.

Expected delivery date is supposed to be 12-6.

How exciting! Your fabric will begin to pay for itself once you can see it all.

I have all my fabric in bookshelves that I bought from Walmart. I think I even got some on sale. My husbands screwed them together so they wouldn't tip over. Works really good. What I did is make a wall out of them so when you come down stairs you don't see my mess.

I thought about doing this, but quite honestly I wanted to take
as much full advantage of the vaulted ceiling as I could.

This shelving unit is 93-1/4" tall MUCH taller than just ordinary
bookcases.

Besides this is my Christmas gift from my hubs.
