Default My mission for organizing

This is a follow up to the previous post of "My Dream Shelving"

The shelves were delivered last Sunday (Dec. 6), and I managed
to get them all assembled. it wasn't until today that I was able to
get enough stuff moved out of the way to put 2 of units into place.

There is a LONG way to go yet, but so far I am liking the end results.

Below are a couple pictures taken of some of my fabric on the shelves.
The one thing that is REAL obvious for me is that I am going to need to
get more shelves.

The first 2 pictures show my yardage and labeling.

This last picture shows 1 shelf of FQ's.

Your fabric looks like candy on your shelves. You will be so happy when all your fabric is on display!

Louise, I so look forward to your updates. So much pretty fabric. It will be easier to shop your own stash when you can see what you actually have! So far, looking GREAT!!

I use comic boards to store my fabrics as well to save room. I place the boards short edge up as shown in the picture, but I roll my fabrics on the board from the long side rather than from the short side so that fabric is visible on the short end of the boards.

You might want to use something different to secure the fabric as paperclips can rust over time. Maybe use plastic clips?
It's looking good and I like the way you are labeling the fabric.
