My cutting table is an old school table my mom salvaged from a school that was closing. The mat is from Joann's. I bought the largest one that comes in two pieces and added the medium size to cover the table. A friend cut a Masonite board big enough to extend over my ikea storage units at the end of the table. We attached the mats with carpet tape. I love my cutting table. It's long enough to cut long borders and I can cut from both sides if I need to. Thanks for asking.

We have a large finished basement. I probably have 700 square feet for my quilt den

If I can't have that kind of room, I'm glad a friend from this board can. Beautiful, and thank you for sharing.

Puts my little spare bedroom sewing room to shame! You're so lucky to have that much space. Real nice.

Your so lucky, our house is only 1200sq feet and I have I tiny area or have to pick up every time I am not working and have NO room to set up my two tredles andonly 1 machine at a time. Enjoy and create wonderful things.

Good grief! That's insane...you're basement is 1800 sf and my house is 1400 sf. My house could fit into your sewing room! Put a bed in the corner and I'd be renting from you!!!

Beautiful space...amazing!

Holy guacamole! That's some studio. I don't think I've ever seen such a big room. Amazing. And it's just beautiful. I think you should invite us all over to see it in person. I'll bring the chocolate.
