Great idea. If you use stencils like I do, you could store them on your rod also.

Brilliant hack! I have been using a combination of pegboard for large rulers and smaller containers for small ones. But as others have said, not ideal because you gotta keep moving ones in front to get to what you want in back.

Your idea keeps them all together efficiently. I'm going to hunt for a place in my sewing room that I might be able implement your handy-dandy system.
