Any Pfaff 4.2 owners on the board.
I have a new Pfaff expressions 4.2 and would love to get into a group so I can learn how to use this machine. The dealer here in town won't help me as I bought the machine in another town. The book isn't very helpful. I learned how to use my Designer 1 on line I'm sure I can learn how to use this one.
You can PM me. I live in Longview WA. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Have you tried the yahoo group. Also, I'm not sure about around there but we have places like Tidewater sew n vac and they have great classes on everything and they don't care what kind of machine you have. Check some LQS too, ours that sell Viking accepts everyone as long as you know a little about your machine and both places request you to bring your manual. Good luck

I also have the Performance 5.0, which I am sure has all of the features of the Quilt Expressions 4.2 in this video, which I found very educational. I love my Pfaffs. Barbara Lee I hope this video helps you tremendously.

I have the Pfaff Performance 5.0 and love the videos (for both the 5.0 and 4.2) found at www.villagesewing.com - learned a lot! I'm not sure how far the closest Quality Sewing & Vacuums store is, but they offer FREE, unlimited Machine Usage Classes no matter where you bought your machine. May be worth the drive to Tacoma. I was the only one to show up when I took the class, so I received one-on-one instruction and all my questions were answered! Now that I've had my machine for a few months, I plan to take the class again for the more advanced features.

My Performance 5.0 is similar and it did take a bit of getting used to because my last machine I got 20 years ago and much has changed, but after a bit of playing around I think think it's difficult. I haven't watched this specific video, but watched one by the same site before buying my Pfaff Performance 5.0. It's long, but this site does a very detailed overview. Watch with caution, because after this you may need to go spend money on it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNHBEUtkUkI
