Eddie probably won't be wearing a cowboy hat either.

I'm traveling with a charter bus full of Mississippi quilters. We are leaving Vicksburg on November 3 and will get there in time to go to preview night. Our group will head home on Saturday morning.

We're staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Houston Southwest. Our bus driver will be making four trips per day to the convention center.

Do you all have your tickets for the show? We are getting a group rate.

Our guild has a big quilt show here October 8-10 with more than 400 quilts plus one of the Hoffman Challenge traveling exhibits. After I get through that, I can start thinking more about Houston.

Hey Debbie

Just found your post, I have also replied on the thread Marcia posted at the beginning of the year.

I will be flying out of the UK on the morning of the 2nd & arriving in Houston mid afternoon.
Will be chilling on the 3rd, then it's all gooooooooooooooooo for the 4th lol.

Let me know about the final decision regarding the name badges

See you there ok ?

I wish I could join you all, but alas, I can't.

My best friend lives in Houston, so I would have been staying with her...

The boy's dad is going to Vegas for a conference the week before, and so far I don't have a job, so I have no money to come.

I was so looking forward to meeting Dakotamaid and her mil and her husband and checking out thier campsite in the parking lot.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time!!!

Take lots of pictures.

Wow, you all will have fun!

When I met other quilt board members in Shipshewana, Indiana we pinned a piece of fabric on our top and was a good way to know that we were from the quilting board.

We had a blast! You all have fun!

I'll be there! Machel is coming with me, IF she doesn't chicken out, but she can't. I have her plane ticket. hehehe

DIX and Trisha! We will have to meet up along with everyone else! Since it'll be a bit on the warm side, I'll bring my QB Santa Shirt with, I'm sure someone will find me. hehe
It's gonna be a great time!

Of course I'll be there :) I haven't missed it in years...and it's only 3 hours away!

I'll be there for 5-6 days, as I usually take as many longarming classes as I can fit in. There aren't any around central TX, so this the best opportunity to do so...and from some wonderful teachers as well!

Hope to see some members!
