JUNE 22-26
11TH ANNUAL QUILT HOP!
Join us for the 11th annual Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop. 57 Quilt Shops from Lynden to Vancouver, WA will be participating this year. Quilters will be hopping from shop to shop, collecting stamps on their passports and a free pattern and fabric at each stop. Last year Keepsake Cottage had 2,200 shoppers during the 5 day event. The hours are 9-7 Wednesday through Saturday, and 10-5 on Sunday.
Yes, Maybe we can do something on the ShopHop. I might be helping at the LQS but not sure yet. that would be fun. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

Are there rules for starting one of these? I would love to set one up here in Spokane! :D
It would be great if you set one up for E. Wash and Idaho.

I'm in Washington but would be very interested in a Beach Retreat in Oregon. Do you allow neighbors to come to your Oregon Beach Retreats.

Please pm with any information.

Keep your eyes out for our next one in Oregon. We just had a get-together a few weeks ago. We've done this about every other month for over a year (meeting in members homes), and some of us were even able to take a beach retreat back in Oct. There's talk about the possibility of another beach retreat this spring. Keep watch . . . . We'd love to have you join us![/quote]

I would love to be part of your group....Just not arriving in WA til the 3rd of May!
I wish I had seen the dates for this meet & greet before I purchased airline tickets! :(
It would be great to meet up with you in May. May 3rd is a Tuesday...so does Saturday or Sunday sound like a good date to meet? Keep me in mind when you decide when and where (I presume it will be Keepsake Cottage in Bothell).

Are you all aware of this Oregon Coast retreat being planned? There are still openings:

I'll be there. Just about 20 miles from me. We go to the quilt shop a couple of times a year. We love to go to country village and have breakfast at Dave and Alexanders tea shop.
Look for you all.

I will try and be there. I have wanted to meet other quilter's from this area, but am very shy. I have a sister lives in Bellevue and I'll see if she will go with me. I live in the Spanaway/Mt Hwy area and don't drive past her place. All of the people on this sight are sssooo great.

My LQS owner has graciously agreed to let us meet at her store, Keepsake Cottage Fabric. This is located in the Country Village in Bothell Washington. This is right off of I-405. (Suggest to use Map Quest for directions). The complex, Country Village, has many wonderful shops including antiques for shopping and a coffee shop and restaurant.

This is not very structured, but the “plan” is to meet at the quilt store, meet, greet and shop. There is no firm time frame but after meeting, and shopping of course. There is a great coffee shop in the complex we can go to sit and chat or the restaurant, or go off on your own to explore.

Date: April 23rd 2011 - Saturday

Time: 11:00 AM until ???????

Place: Keepsake Cottage Fabrics - Country Village

818 238th St

Bothell, WA 98021

Store phone #: 425-486-3483

Please where a name tag with “Quilting Board”, your screen name and your first name. Nothing fancy. Mine will probably a 3 x 5 index card pinned to my shirt.

I would like to get an approximate head count. If this is something you might be interested in, please respond to the topic or pm me. Any questions, pm me also.

Please remember this is not a formal event just a chance to meet others from this wonderful board. If folks like this, we can plan something later in the year.
