Absolutely gorgeous, I hope you win a blue ribbon for it. Looks perfect to me, be very proud of it. I remember those cookies, haven't seen any in a while.

Thank you. Yes, I did the quilting on my domestic machine. Not lucky enough for a long arm. :)

Just curious, how many different red batiks did you use in your quilt?
I used 11 different red batiks. I had decided on the color scheme before I went shopping for batiks. I soon found out that red was a difficult color to find an assortment of batiks in. A member here suggested Seawatch Fabrics (they have a website) which specializes in batiks and Asian prints. They had tons of reds (and lots of other colors I REALLY wanted) and I actually had to scale my order back to stay within a reasonable price total. :D
