I saw the post above about Hooked on Feathers after I posted my reply to you. Thank you. I'm going to order the book today. And again...your quilting is beautiful!

It's from Judy Martin's "Star Happy Quilts", very slightly adapted by me in that the smallest star is my own addition - the pattern doesn't have that one.
The quilts in it are all from the same block which is the 12in star plus the 6in and a plain 6in square next to it - but in different sizes and layouts.
Thanks, Katrine. I must order that books. I just love that quilt!

Oh, I love, love, love this pattern. I have two or three different patterns very similar to this one and it's on my to do list. Just have to get to it. So many quilts, so little time. Your quilt takes my breath away. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Kim, I love your babies in your avatar. I used to have two dobies. They were stolen. A very long story, but I can only hope that the woman that stole them is taking very good care of them. You brought memories just flooding back. Thank you! What are their names? Mine were Zepplin and Zenobia.

This quilt is just so lovely. I am impressed with your fmq as well. You are smart to only attack a small amount at a time. My wrists get very sore struggling to keep it lined up.

Thanks everyone!

Red - I could not have done this I think without the Sewslip mat I got recently - it makes movement soooo much easier - worth every penny (or cent!) and more
