    I have picked up a couple quilts that are of this nature- they are fairly well designed and hand stitched and they are made in China. I got one at the Goodwill store, and one at the local dept store after xmas sale. They are both nice quilts and one tip off is the hand quilting which is not very complex or close. My Christmas one is starting to have a few quilting stitches come out after a few washings, but i very much like the design and fabrics. whereever it came from, the price is right!!

    I agree the "handmade" ones from the store have very large stitching, they can be pretty, but won't hold up nearly as well as a real handquilted one. Still a bargain at that price no matter what.
