My best friend went to Goodwill or St. Vincent's (I can't remember which). She found this ratty old quilt -- at least she ThOUGHT it was ratty until she washed it. She thinks it's one of those you get from the store...but I really don't think so -- what do you think?

I thought all of you might enjoy seeing the quilt and the close up of the blocks.

Wow, that looks hand quilted. I don't think that came from a store. What a find.

I don't think this is mass produced, from the pics you provided it looks handmade. Often mass produced "quilts" have little variation in fabric (wholecloth - usually with a print) they are also very heavily machine quilted - I am not hugely into florals (though looking at my stash you'd think so) but, this is a real beauty. Excellent find and thanks for posting.

The fabrics appear to be more vintage type in it I think.
It doesn't appear 'store bought' to me. Great find!
