My daughter made a much shorter version of this with batting for her cat to sleep on. She used flannels and it came out oh so cute. I posted a pic on here somewhere, but since the quiltingboard changed, I haven't been able to find all of my old posts.

We made these at retreat. I don't really like them. Yours is real pretty though.

I used buttons at the points and wrapped the hoop from the tassels around the buttons. Made them out of Xmas fabric and gave as gifts..........Michele

Love this pattern you can do so many things with it............. here is what I did..... had an orphan block sitting there so decided to use it in a 10 min runner.

Oh how pretty!! It gives me ideas on how to make a runner for my wooden drop leaf table, I have a toolbox full of buttons and had no idea or maybe just not thought of them until now!! Thank you for sharing!

@ScrapQuilter.....I love your orphan block runner!! What a great idea!!!! Hadn't thought about doing that either. I've got a whole list of things now to add to my runners.

@PatG...of course I don't mind.

I did one for Christmas (don't tell anyone it's still on the table) that I put silver snow flake buttons on. I don't have kids at my house so I don't have to worry about that. Thought about tassels but wasn't sure how I wanted to attach them.

Keep on giving me ideas everyone!!!!

I used small tassels, attached where the fold meets the center panel with fancy buttons.
