This is a gorgeous quilt! It's a difficult block, because of the Y-seams, beautifully pieced. And, the colors look like she planned this quilt just for me. I love it. This lady gives me the courage to try this quilt design for myself.

We live longer anymore with all the advances in the medical field. I have had the pleasure over the last 34 years living here in the deep south knowing some that have lived vrom 100+ with oldest being 112 when she passed several years ago.

We have at least half a dozen ladies in one of the guilds I belong to in there mid to late 90's still quilting and boy do they do beautiful work.

I can only hope to aspire to doing what they do one day.
