2010, a new year and a new year of quilts
#12
Thanks everyone...I tried out the red and brown theme in my "girlie" bathroom (I've lived in a household of men, now only hubby and I and he has his own manly bathroom). Since our bedroom furniture is Danish Modern, I wanted a simple theme for the room. Also repurposed old sewing machines as lamp tables.

Nice quilt, I went to that website you referenced, where on it did you find the quilt as you go technique. I am wanting to machine quilt myself but to try a big quilt in a regular home machine is too much for me, I really want to try the quilt as you go technique. Was it easy to piece the blocks together?

kkbrand,
I love this technique, because I wanted to quilt my own, also.; especially when I do "give away" quilts. Here's where to find the quilt as you go technique: www.treadleon.net Then go to The Quilt Shop, and then scroll down to Joining Pre-Quilted Blocks. Here's a couple more quilts I've done this way. Have fun!
