First machine applique project, first flip flop, and first batik quilt. (I did do a small wallhanging just prior). I started this project with our church group. I didn't think I was going to like it so was just making a small piece, wall hanging or lap quilt. WELL, when I saw the small project, I went home and made more blocks and this is the finished product. Of course it will go into my pile of tops that need to be quilted, but I am slowly working on that, too. After the rotator cuff surgery it is still painful to do too much FM. So I am doing a little at a time. Not sure what to put on the back???? Oh, this top is Cat tested and Kitten approved!!! That's Max, our office cat. His sister Lizz isn't as outgoing as Max, but she still checks out all the projects we bring in to share. Thanks for looking.

I can see why you decided to make a larger on after seeing how the wall hanging turned out. It is a beautiful quilt. The colors are wonderful and the design is great. I know just what you mean by piling on the quilt tops...me too!
