I think I would go with another border the same as the inside border and use the yellow to bind with, but that's just me.
You did a fantastic job! and that pieced border is gorgeous! Love the quilt:)

If just hearing the colors described, I would never have thought they could have made up into something so absolutely beautiful! The border is fabulous and sets it off so perfectly.
