No, dear, it is the gum leaf with berries on - koalas eat gum leaves and we have the gumnut babies by May Gibbs who uses those designs with babies sitting in the nuts after flowering!! The Tasmanian Devil pic on the white side of the bag was not in the collection so I searched for one because he is not in our Australiana collections and struggling for survival. My son has friend in Bali who's wife loves Tasmanian Devil cartoon so I found a pic for her too :idea: :-)

Hello gmcsewer - thank you for your message - the quilt is Sunflowers in Pam Bono's Big Book of Rotary Cutter Quilts I found some yellow wishy-washy pale yellow thin uneven stripe-ish varying towards deeper orange across the WOF so I fussy cut petals to get the natural grain in petal effect. I also have a couple more of Pam's books and free designs downloadable from her site. Sunflowers are happy flowers and seem to bring out the sunshine everywhere - enjoy making it. Regards Ada :lol:
