Thanks Losie, yes machine appliqué is my favorite technique. The reverse appliqué was done by hand.

Just wondering how many did the embroidery around the inside edge of the reverse applique? Or does it just get a little lost in the pics.

I'm doing this block now and noticed the red line on the pattern but when I look at Aie's block, I think I can only see her machine sewing line.

I'm not going to bother if it is not even noticeable.

It's not like I'm ahead of the game and looking for extra stuff to do, is it. :shock:

I put it on mine, but I know that in the book Aie didn't have it on hers -- only on the pattern. I like doing the embroidery -- it's what I do best on these blocks!! :roll: -- so I decided to put on mine. ;)

I love doing the embroidery also Patty so I will have a look at my block when it is finished and decide either way then.
