Losie, love your colors. A pretty block.
Mousie,I don't know which method you are using, but I am doing invisible machine applique, and I pretty much cut the "frame" fabric as a whole piece, appliquéd that, then cut background brown fabric from behind it leaving a little seam allowance, turned that piece under( only messed up on cutting so I had to fiddle with it a bit), appliquéd it in top and wallah. I think that is the way Pat and Kathy(originally) did it or that I how I understood they did it and did mine, lol. Clear as mud?

This is the only block that Aie did as a reverse applique, though several have done it the more conventional way (Patti was one of them). If you go back to the beginning of this thread, you will see how I did mine, which might help a bit for those of you who haven't tried this method.
Well done to those of you who have tackled it as it seems to be a block that has worried a good few of you.

I might wait till I am on one of those blocks and yell for more help, lol...bc I might not remember.
I am so very visual.
I have to 'DO' to learn, but have to see it in my head first.
No see - no do. monkeys either, lol ;-)

Here is a photo of my redone Block #10. I didn't do reverse applique on this one. Instead I put the light lavender piece on, then added another black piece as I did this using freezer paper.
Now, please show us your Blocks #10!
