Here's my block #17...YAY one more!!

I messed up on the placement of one of the hearts a little so the center was a bit tilted at the tops of that heart. I knew from the start I wanted to embroider more and thought that a flower in the middle would distract from the tilt. I also added another little curve to the outer swirls

I would like your opinion please, I purchased some batiks and was planning on using these for the Little Brown Bird qult, and I am also doing the Dear Jane quilt, just waiting for the book, cd and rulers to arrive. My question, do you think the batiks are too bright for these quilts?
Posting picture of those new fabrics!

I haven't done either of these quilts Donna but those fabrics are just beautiful.

I would imagine you could interpret DJ in whatever manner you chose, for example Elle's Asian Jane.

I agree Donna...I like your range of colors. Did you see the DJ made with Kaffe Faucet fabrics??? It is just gorgeous! So, if you like the pallet, you will like the quilt.

Gus, your block is fabulous!! I love your little extras, but your fabric choice for this one is wonderful.

Oooo, Cre - I think this one is my favorite one so far! I LOVE the bright colors. I can't tell which heart is tilted, so I guess your additional embroidery did the trick. Love the flower, too.
