I think you have done a great job - I haven't even come to any scrolls yet. Something to look forward to.

I can't tell how it reads in person...it might be fine and just reading that dark on my monitor. I hate that you might have to redo a piece...(I know since I've redone several.... )

The more I look at it the more I know it must be replaced. It is too dark and just blends into the background fabric.

yes, it is playing ghosty-y with us, but you did a fine job on the block.
Rather replace one piece than hate a whole block.
Maybe this block was your hardest and you'll catch a break after this.
You certainly are to be commended for all that you have done lately.
    I've done a lot too...just not on AOTH :-(
It will be all :-D :-D :-D when I do, though. hugs

What if you were to outline it with embroidery instead of re-doing it?

Sorry 'bout that Patti. I know how hard it is to pick one back up when you think you are finished with it! It shouldn't take long though...post again when you have it redone, ok?

Here is my Block 19. The colors are off. I used the same gold colors on all 4 corners but 1 corner looks darker.

Great job. Using the chain stitch gives more definition to the embroidery too.
