I like it Losie, this one was a tough one for me.
And speaking of embroidery, boy oh boy do I have admiration for all of you churning out blocks fast doing hand applique AND embroidery...my newest adventure is painting on fabric, and I did a few 8'' blocks and wanted to outline the painted design with a stem stitch...so far, I outlined one and did that take me a long time!!! Two more to go..may take well into Christmas to finish that

I've looked for those sticks at my LQS Candi and they didn't stock them any longer. I can't wait to see what you are doing! I might just have to order some on line...it sounds like you are having too much fun!

Pat, I have been doing my homework for the best deal on these paintsticks so I can forward the link to Santa  ( of course Santa is saying why don't you just go ahead and buy them already ,little does he know that the reason I am waiting until Christmas is that mostly likely I won't have time to play until after then  )
It seems like this site has pretty good prices on them:
http://www.madisonartshop.com/pastbr.html
Shipping is almost $10, but it is still not a bad deal compared to other sites. Of course one can always watch Ebay or the like for great deals too.
Ok, so don't want o hijack this thread, so I think I will post the photos in the main discussion thread.

Thanks, DeeCee, but it's not me - it's the freezer paper! I have never even wanted to try needleturn as I get such good results with FP. Might be a bit more fiddly than needleturn what with all the prep work involved, but I think the results are worth it. Thanks again.
