Here is my version of Block #20.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Here is my version of Block #20.
I love your fabric choices. They look so geat
I just looked at all your blocks and will comment in this post:
GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D
Thanks all of you. These little blocks are so much fun to do and since I'm doing them by machine, quick, too. What you see is a completely finished block - all quilted and ready to be sewn up. Right now I have 4 rows of 4 blocks joined with that reversible quilt - quilt as you go method. Need to sew the rows together. Then figure out what I'm going to do for the inner border!
Beautiful work, awesome!
Beautiful!
beautiful..
Your blocks are all beautiful, can't wait to see the whole quilt.
You are on a roll now Kathy - this one is a beauty too. Here is mine.
I think this one is out of the box for you, Lesley - rust & orange? I love it! You always do such nice work.Originally Posted by Lacelady
I thought these blocks screamed for ALL colors, so I haven't tried to stick to a color scheme. Kinda comes in handy that I have such a big stash of batiks - all collected in such a short time! :-)
Can't wait to see all the blocks together. I'll put up a thread for the center unit when the time comes!
You have done it again Kathy, beautiful lavenders and purple
Lesley I love your choice too, a bit different colours for you but beuatiful nontheless
both blocks are beautiful.
very very pretty ladies...
cant wait to see the completed quilts
I'm trying to think outside the box for some of them.Originally Posted by Butterflyspain
Lesley, I need your fabrics for MY quilt!!! I have to go back and rethink my choices. I don't like the choices that I made for block 17...this one is so similar to it too....so its off to the scrap bag to look again!
Both of your blocks are so drop dead gorgeous!
(Kathy, I had to go back to look again for the quilting. I like what you did!)
The striped one I put in the middle flower is a regular cotton, not batik, but I liked it there better than anything else I had.Originally Posted by sandpat
Well I am just doing those blocks by picking them out of the first 16. This is my Block 20

Elle, your scrolls have come out really well. You might not have liked doing them, but they look fine to me.
Thanks Lesley, The were horrors to do and I know there are a lot more to come. YUK
Wow, Elle, your scrolls are super. I'm still having trouble with them. Have spent the past two nights watching applique videos. Hopefully something will sink in and mine will get better with practice because I haven't been happy with the ones I've done.
I donīt know if it will help, but I basted my fabric around pattern first then needleturned them into place. They are not the easiest pieces to do because they have tight corners, you just have to sew little tiny stitches to hold them in place just like Lesley said
Gorgeous!!!!
Thanks Patty.
