Flossy---Shame on you! There is NOTHING dull about your block...it is absolutely beautiful and colorful. And I think I see that we have some fabric in common (your light blue batik and the dark blue that looks like seaweed)

Flossy, I love your block. When I see the other people's blocks I see beauty. Yet given the choice I would not swap.

we are all going to love our quilts.
I am doing a different theme and my dd came up with the name.
It's a cute story,...to me...that I will share later, but I can say this...when you find the fabrics that are right for you, it's like a child...not really perfect, although we think so,...but the love is undending.
i may make a hideous job of the sewing...who knows, lol?
    but I love these fabrics!
...and so shall we all

Yeh, I know what you are saying Mousie. I'm a turtle too.

I have my second block half done and the fabric is not thrilling me.

So I have spent this week looking at it...........deciding.

All of sudden, hearts just seem easier to applique, lol (especially after scrolls). I had to go back and look at all the blocks you ladies posted, absolutely beautiful, I just love this block.

I think I have been not getting a link to this thread so have missed some gorgeous blocks. AC, Flossi and Candi, yours are all beautiful. I am soooo anxious to see all the quilts when they are done.

This is my block 23. It looked so easy after block 22. I marked the pattern carefully and I cut out all of my pattern pieces with care. However, when I started to sew on all the hearts, everything was cattywampus and nothing fit like it should. I tore it apart and I started again. This one is not perfect but it is going into my quilt. :-) :-)

Judy, chect the top of a page of this thread. Is the block between "Bookmark" and "Add to Topic List" "Watch" or "Unwatch"? If it is watch, click it. Alsao check your email INBOX to see if way down there is another notification for comments to this thread that you missed. If so, you wouldn't get another one until you read this thread. By commenting this time, you should be good to go.

What's really interesting, Elle, is that I go to my email and read all the notices I've been sent. Then if I look at "watched topics" at the top, there will be several of the threads for individual blocks there that I never got notices for. Seems weird to me. I just have to keep checking that watched topics sections.

I find that also Judy and by the time you realise you have been missing a thread there is a multitude of pages to work through.
