I agree with you about making me to get squiffy with you. These blocks are driving me nuts. we should be pros with the scrolls by the end of this quilt. All of these blocks are so pretty I love all the colors. It seems like you can't go wrong using the batiks everything blends so well. Thanks for sharing all these great blocks

I just finished watching a Sharon Schamber youtube video on needleturn applique. Instead of freezer paper which has to be removed, she uses a sort of stabilizer and glue. It was very interesting. She specifically does some tiny points and innie points. She stabilizes the innie points with Elmer's glue and boy she had a nice point. You all might be interested in her ideas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEeirIl1Acs I am going to try the Elmer's.

Thanks Judy...I'm going to go look at that right now!

Lynnie..I just love your block! The center flower is so pretty and your blue flower centers are just perfect! Are you using the circle thingies or how are you getting them so perfect???

Well it took me awile to get this one done losts of distractions i had to finish my daughter's graduation quilt and do all anouncments and invitaions this week. Glad they are all done. Now i have to plane a party. Hope you like this one it's is my third corner block and i'm using the same fabric on all the four corners. I was worried that it did not have enough contrast but when i put it on my design with all the other I think it looks great. 8 block done just a few more to go.

Judy, Thanks for sharing this info. I watched her video and it gave me some confidence that maybe I can do needle turn applique. I went to Purple Daisies LLC and I ordered the light weight foundation and the glue tips. I am definitely going to give this method a try.

Absolutely hated doing this block. Way too many little hearts. By the time I finished the block, I really wasn't sure I wanted to do any more (nah!)

Without embroidery as I am saving all my blocks to take to the beach on vacation.
