Just Beautiful.

This might be a good place to ask my question. I have been wondering about this for a long time.

Are you allowed to enter quilts into contests that you've copied from a pattern or book someone else has created?

You would need to secure permission from the copyright holder. In this case, it would be the publisher who will connect you with Aie Rossman for permission. I don't think it's so important for a small, local show as it would be for a larger venue.

In the smaller show, or a larger one, you would still need to credit Aie Rossman (and maybe the book) as the source of inspiration.

Well this labor of love was well worth the sore fingers. Now to decide on the border design and complete it before finishing the final 20 blocks.

They look absolutely beautiful together. Can't wait to see what you come up with for your border.
