    Airing of the Quilts, Smithville, Tx 2012

    A variety of pics from our little town. Picture 1 is the house used in Tree of Life. You can see the oak tree inside the yard on the left. Picture 4 is the house used in Hope Floats.

    What a wonderful idea, so pretty. I think theres a lot of quilters around that aren't known. This would be a good idea to bring them out.

    LOVE that 4th house with the round front porch - there is one in Paducah like it and they have turned it into a REST STOP - no kidding. Museum in the front and bathrooms in the back!!!

    OMG! Doesn't it kind of take you back to what 'yesteryear' would have been? Grew up in the country and we always had quilts sheets or blankets airing out. Not to mention the beating of the rugs. Aaaahhhh the memories....
