I would have felt a big let down if I had been in your shoes. I think your quilt is very pretty, and perfect for a little boy, and I can't understand why anyone would be so non responsive when receiving it. The changing pad and matching mobile along with that lovely quilt is a very nice gift, and I do hope you will receive some nice feedback later. I think the other member is probably right when she said they would appreciate it later when they receive all the compliments.

There is no excuse for bad manners. Some people just don't get the idea of saying thank you and meaning it.
Your quilt is gorgeous.

It is a lovely quilt. I, too, don't know quite how to feel - made a quilt for my new grandson and everyone ooh and awed over it, but it has never been used. I meant for it to be used.

My feelings would have been hurt also. Many people just do not appreciate the personal touch and time it took to make it. I love the quilt!

I totally get it, I have spent months working on a crossstitch and never even recieved a thank you for them. I recently decided if I don't get thank yous then it becomes the last gift they get! So far the proper amount of thayous have come for my quilts, Thank goodness 'cuz I love to sew 'em and I don't know what I would do with them!
