Thanks for all the lovely compliments. These all look so different depending on the colors you use.

Bev - the pattern is a quilt-as-you-go pattern called Country Treasures by Wendy - Just the Braid Runner - Series 2 . It is soooo easy. You can use the new spray adhesives to keep the backing attached to the batting as you sew or pin the heck out of it. That way the backing stays smoothly attached while you are jumping from the sewing machine to the iron for each and every strip you attach. :) The original pattern makes a really big runner - 22 x 53 inches. I cut that down a bit by using 1 1/2 inch strips instead of the 2 1/2 inch they called for. My next one will be in blues and purples with a smaller center. I'm playing with how it will join at the sides and having some fun. :-p
