It's been a slow year for me also. I have been helping my sister with her husband who is in stage four cancer. Along with that I have my own husban who is seventeen years older than I am, which means that I do all the yard work along with the whole house thing. Oh......I have to cook also!! It's amazing that with an Awsome God I am able to stay focused.

Have to agree with BrendaK...only the 3rd quilt this year! Just finished a small baby quilt and didn't even try quilting it myself. That was quilt #1 for this year. Hoping to get busy on another one next month. Too much going on this month.

I learned to free motion on my home sewing machine by watching Leah Day as well. Her tutorials are great.
Beautiful quilt for a little one. Our guild makes doll quilts for head start and the children appreciate them so much. We made over 1000 last year. I make quilts for unwed mothers and children in hospitals as well and it is "truly more blessed to give than receive."
