Isn't that sad? We sure get attached to quilts, don't we? I think the folks who sell them on ebay just don't relzie how special they really are. To them, they're just "blankets".

I recently visited my family in Missouri. My cousin brought me a similar quilt pieced by her grandmother. She asked me to repair it. The colors from your quilt look very similar. I was wondering, if you still had those orphan blocks, if you might donate them to help me repair her quilt. Thank you for considering my request. Sharyn from California

I wish I had sang that "song" because you've got quite a haul. Wise decision not to machine quilt it. Be sure to post pics of it finished. Those fabrics are to die for. Thanks for sharing.

that is a beautiful GFG love the colors. I would have been happy to do the hand quilting. I used to do that for others when I lived in Kentucky. I want to get back into that for extra money as I a sr living alone and could use the work. If anyone else is interested, please feel free to contact me.

That will be a wonderful treasure no matter if it is quilted by hand or machine but I vote for hand.

Wow did you score. Someone put a lot of love into this quilt and who ever sold it never knew what they had.
