It will be beautiful which ever color you choose. I immediately thought "Pink!" but I'm partial to pink. Gorgeous blocks!

Unless you already have the colors, I would buy just a couple inch strips of green, gold and perhaps a couple of other colors that is in the blocks just to test it. I do think it need something in between too. Your blocks are very pretty.

Definately green, don't use pink as there is enough pink in the blocks.

What about a pink fabric for a narrow sashing.
The pink will carry the pink from the fans.
Pink and black make a great combination for this quilt.
And use a pink/black print fabric for the border.
Use black for the binding.
