Anyway she wanted the turtles to appear to be swimming...and seaweed in the border. I hope i accomplished that...I hope you can see in the pictures that the turtles are actually 3-D. This is such an adorable quilt...and what a great souvenir.

I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used hobbs poly down batting.

Wonderful and soooo unique.
I am from Hawaii. I named my truck, Honu because its brownish-green, has a shell and goes very very slow.
